Synopsis
Tanya and Julia face their fears as they prepare to free dive together with experienced conservationist divers Ocean and Juan in Shark Alley Gansbaai, South Africa, the “Great White Shark Capital of the World.” We witness the devastating impact the exploding Cape Fur Seal population has on the endangered African Penguin caused by the disappearance of the White Shark. In search of Great Whites, the team sails to a marine protected area and fishing village in the southernmost point of the African content. Unexpected encounters with Southern Right Whales and Dolphins add to the amazing underwater experience with Cape Fur Seals. Although the local fisherman do not catch Great Whites, the team explores local shark fishing practices. Excitement is high as our team discovers a Great White pup and a large female. There is hope.
