Two single parents fall in love while fighting over a puppy to give to their children for Christmas.
Synopsis
Single mom Maggie has sworn off dating. Jack, also a single parent, gives his daughter Olivia a Labrador Retriever named “Lardo” for Christmas. Maggie’s son Ethan also wants a dog for Christmas so she visits the local dog pound. While at the pound Maggie ends up adopting Lardo. Meanwhile, Jack arranges for a local TV host to mention his missing dog on her show. Both Maggie and Ethan see the show and Lardo is reunited with Jack. Lardo is clearly depressed without Maggie around so Jack and Maggie decide to split custody ending up spending a lot of time together and fall in love.
