Synopsis
With black-sand beaches, lagoons, waterfalls and extinct volcanoes, Tahiti entered into people’s consciousness through Paul Gauguin’s paintings. This documentary is focused on the observation of marine wildlife, nature protection, history, original inhabitants’ ancient customs and photographic work. Escape to Tahiti takes a viewer gently yet firmly through the respectful visit of the beautiful temple of Mother Nature.
