Synopsis
In 1968, the Golden Globe Race challenged solo sailors to circumnavigate the globe. Sir Robin Knox Johnston emerged victorious. Fifty years later, Don McIntyre’s quest attracts, against-the-odds, 18 amateur sailors who depart from France where they embark in a grueling journey, where only five complete the non-stop lap of the world, with the final finisher spending an astonishing 322 days alone at sea.
